Sharen Boxer

Sharen Joyce Boxer, 71, of Poplar, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Billings Clinic in Billings.
She was born Nov. 4, 1946, to Tony and Mattie Ina Boxer in Poplar and lived most of her life in Poplar, except for a time when she lived in Billings.
She had one son, Delray Smith.
She graduated from Poplar High School in 1966. She attended United Tribes Technical College, graduating from the business clerical program. During her time there, she lived in the honor dorm, an accomplishment she was very proud of.
She made many friends throughout her life.
She was a dialysis patient for the past several years.
She always had a puppy sharing her home and sharing her heart. Her little “Goldie” will be given to her grandson Trevor and his mother to care for.
She is survived by four brothers, William “Bill” Hawk of Miles City, Tony Boxer of Poplar, Sherman Boxer of Denver, Colo., and Ira Ricker of Wolf Point; one sister, Ardey Boxer of Bismarck, N.D.; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her son, Delray Smith.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Poplar Cultural Center with interment in the Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
