Leslie Rudolph

Leslie Edward Rudolph, 75, died at his home in Bainville Monday evening, June 11, 2018.
He was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Williston, N.D., the second son of Leo and Dorothy Rudolph.
He went to school in Bainville and enlisted in the Army in 1961, where he served as a paratrooper. After active duty, he joined the National Guard.
He lived in Jordan, working as a truck driver. This is where he met his first wife, Kathy. Together, they had two children, Michael and Jannel. They then moved to Fairview, where he was employed by Neu Construction. During this period, he became single. Later, he moved to
Bainville and was employed by Franz Construction until his retirement.
In 1990, he married Sharon Robinson. Together, they lived at the Robinson home place.
He was a member of the American Legion.
He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and was an excellent handyman.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Michael of Texas; daughter, Jannel of Texas; step-daughter, Malinda Nelson of Spokane, Wash.; brothers, Bob of Bainville, Tom of Conrad, Tim of rural Froid and Chester of McCabe; and sisters, Jan Wheeler of Bismarck, N.D., Susan Walker of Great Falls and Arlene Bieber of Fairview.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Art Rudolph; sisters, Betty Nice and Leona Rudolph; and stepson, Ricky Paras.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside committal service at the Bainville Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22.
